...and who are better visitors than family?? Especially when they include four fun filled cousins and a wonderful aunt and uncle!! John, Becki, Cailyn, Emily, Sara and Lauren graced our presence for three short days this week. We wished it could have been a whole week though because there just wasn't enough time to hang out and play!! They stopped by on their way down to Arizona (that's where they are moving). We are so excited about how close they are going to be to us now...we're already planning to go see them next month for Emily's baptism, so it's good to know that we're close enough to plan weekend trips every now and then. We just need to keep recruiting more and more family out this way so we can all get together ALL the time!! Right now we're lucky enought to have Clea and Alexis (Jason's cousins) really close in San Diego and my aunt and uncle in Newport Beach so we're getting there :-)
While the cousins were here we made a trip to the park for a train ride and to feed the ducks (pony rides were closed - boo hoo!), a trip to Balboa Island to play at the beach and eat on the pier, and the main event...a trip to Sea World. We were also able to catch up with Alexis and Clea over pizza on the way home from Sea World. It is always so fun to hang out with them b/c they're full of funny reminicent stories and b/c I've honestly never met anyone without kids who is as amazing with kids....does that make sense??
So needless to say it wasn't the most relaxing pit stop on their road trip down to AZ, but we had a ton of fun!! We'll do more relaxing next time guys, I promise :-)

Love the pictures! Looks like you all had a blast. Can't wait for our turn!!
You got some great pictures. It reminded me of when I was little, growing up in San Diego. I would give anything to go back there and live. Lucky girl! :)
