This morning we celebrated St. Patrick's Day with green eggs and, no not ham, but pancakes. Mayah was thrilled...Connor not so much. He was a little turned off by the green scrambled eggs until he accidently took a bite and realized they were the same old things he loves...just a weird color. Mayah has already informed me (thanks to her healthy digestive system) that "they come out lookin' the same color." I took her word for it...EWW! Kids make even the small holidays so much fun b/c they get sooooo excited for them...the first words out of Mayah's mouth this morning as she rolled over on her pillow and faced me (Jason's out of town until tonight so she bunked with me) was "Happy St. Patrick's Day mom! I've got to go get into my green outfit."

I am such a lame mom and totally forgot it was St. Patrick's day. So, we did nothing. Good thing the boys didn't know either. To them, I am still great. :) But I know I missed it!!! I think Jackson actually had green on.
