Oh What a Night!

Last night (or should I say early this morning) was one of those that I'll never get used to. Mayah came crawling into our bed and said "Mom I think I threw up last night." It's a good thing that I usually wake right up and am pretty alert when the kids come into our room or else I would have awoken this morning with crusty throw up all over EVERYTHING. But right away I was thinking what is she talking about...threw up last night?? No she didn't?? Then it clicked. Jason was complaining all day about being achy...blah, blah, blah. I know real sensative, Sandy! So I went to check out the damage on Mayah's top bunk. And it was graphic!! The whole time I was thinking there is no way that color is going to come out of her new Potterybarn quilt!! Again...real sensative, Sandy! But I lucked out and after about an hour of cleaning at 3 am and a quick bath for Mayah to get the chunky dorito filled throw up out of her hair (sorry I just couldn't resist putting a vivid picture into all of your minds...and yes, doritos were our before bedtime snack) I went back to bed. The one small piece of good fortune was the great idea I had of laying a thick towel down where I slept last night...to cover the small splotches that Mayah got in the bed when she first came in...so when I brought Ava in from her crib this morning to feed her, and she threw up the entire contents of her stomach, I was prepared :-) All the clean up I had to do was ball up the towel and throw it into the washer for the 5th load of barf laundry. Anyways it looks like we have a full blown epidemic at the bozzy house right now. I think I brought this upon myself b/c I was just reading my friends blog about her miserable night of sickness and kids and I was thinking "Man, I am so glad that wasn't me!" Well, now it is...Thanks Jana!

Oh, I feel for you. There is nothing as nasty as throw up. Especially at 3am. And I seriously feel for you with the PB quilt. Why do we even bother buying them? Hopefully they won't throw up anymore. SICK!

I am so sorry. That is so not fun!
I hope they all feel better soon! I hope this doesn't mean now that I'm reading this that this is going to happen in my family. That would be some kind of sick blog chain you are starting! J/K!
