Our trip to the beach was nice and relaxing...a bit too cold to actually get in the water, which was fine with me...dry kids are always easier to handle and clean up than wet sandy ones. Although, I do have to say that most of the kids (and Becki and I) did end up with wet jeans...yuck! We then walked out on the pier and had dinner at Ruby's Diner. The whole way there Connor was saying "Burgers, fries, shakes?? Burgers, fries, shakes??" Any time we drive by In-N-Out (our beloved weekend hamburger ritual) Connor gets all excited, bounces up and down in his seat and exclaims "Burgers, fries, shakes!!" in his cute little boy voice. Addicted anyone?? Yes, we all are!
