Well I've offically felt my first earthquake since we've moved here...nothing too exciting thank goodness. I was standing in our bathroom, leaning against the counter, plucking my eyebrows when I felt a very slight shake. Jason was playing basketball at the time so I thought "oh, he must have gotten home early and that's him either opening the garage door or stomping up the stairs." But when I realized that he wasn't home I wondered if it was an earthquake I just felt. It wasn't until I turned on the tv that my suspicions were confirmed...reports said "a small earthquake has shook the Newport Beach area. A preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey says the 3.1-magnitude quake struck at 8:28 p.m. Wednesday, two miles northeast of the city of Newport Beach."
Like I said...nothing too remarkable, thankfully!!
