So, Jason's 30th came and went this past Saturday. And much to his liking I didn't plan a big embarassing surprise party for him. I was really wanting to do something unexpected/embarassing for him, but deep down I knew he would be much happier if I didn't make a big deal over it. That being said we still had a busy and funfilled day. We started the day off with another birthday party for Mayah's friend, Jorie. It was a pool party so the entire family went along to enjoy the good friends, good weather, and good food. Then around mid-day Jason's cousins, Alexis, Clea, and Lilly, who live in San Diego, came up to spend the day with us. We had so much fun sitting around, catching up on old times (which always includes rehashing hilarious stories from growing up in Kansas together), and talking about future happenings. Lilly broke the news to us that she is moving back to Kansas soon...we'll miss her for sure, and just so everyone is clear...NO ONE is allowed to move away anymore, we will only accept family and friends immigrating INTO our state from this point forward.
