I am in the market for a new book to read and thought I would ask if anyone had any recommendations. I was at Costco today and almost bought a couple, but I hate getting a book without a good recommendation to go along with it. I usually fall in the trap of choosing one that "looks" like it will be good by it's cover and the write up on the back...any cover description can make a book sound like it'll be good. So if any of you have any authors and/or particular books that you really love please let me know. I usually read mysteries (mindless entertainment, I know) or any type of fiction, but I'm open to anything. I guess summer TV programming has finally taken it's toll and I need something to keep my busy in the evenings...other than Wed. and Thur. that is!! Those nights are religously devoted to "So You Think You Can Dance". Did anyone else almost break down into tears when you found out it wasn't on this week?? The lack of choices at this time of year has me watching "Hey Paula" as well. One word...CRAZY!! I love watching it though just to see what she'll do next...I honestly can't believe she agreed to doing that show.

Oh, I knew it!! I pegged you for a big, big "So You Think You Can Dance" fan!! I'm SUPER hooked on that show and did actually let it ruin a good solid 10 minutes of my day when I found out it, my one and only "show", wasn't on!!! Books....hmmm, I'll get back to you on that one!!
