The 4th of July

We had so much fun celebrating the 4th this year. First of all Daddy was home so the kids were already bouncing off the walls, but once we added the neighborhood parade and festivities, they thought they were in heaven! There were face painting booths, clowns, balloon creations, train rides, fire truck rides, a parade, a rock climbing wall, crafts, and every pregnant woman's dream...endless food and ice cream!

Mayah is cruising right along in the parade that was led by a police car...I think she thought it was a race by the way she was cookin' along!

Mayah opted for a gorgeous balloon braclet and Connor chose a fishing pole.

Yummy treats!!

Mommy trying to re-live her youth with Mayah.

Here's the train the kids could ride all around the neighborhood streets.

And the fire truck that was giving rides on the top to all the kiddies.

We ended the day with a swim at the pool with our friends, the Yonce's.

By the end of the day Connor was so tired that he konked out in the middle of the floor. And if you know Connor, you know the love affair he has with his crib...he actually gets excited when you ask him if he's ready for a nap or for nite, nite. It was so cute seeing him laying there--I had trouble keeping Mayah and Jason at a distance because they both just wanted to lie down next to him and snuggle.
