So, so proud...

We couldn't have hoped for anything more for our little boy than what he has accomplished in this video. I finally had to bust out my camera this morning and capture this moment...well it wasn't actually a moment seeing as he kept doing it over and over again. And yes, I know that some of you will say "what kind of parents would give their children something with that song on it?" But that Barbie guitar was Santa's desperate attempt to fulfill a little girls only wish a couple of Christmas' ago. As a disclaimer we didn't realize what fine quality the songs would be until Christmas morn'. As you can tell from Mayah's singing in the background she is a big fan of that song as well...oh well, I guess there could be worse things, right? Well this video totally cracks me up...I think it's the rocking back and forth while he's trying to sing the words "ya, ya, ya, ya, ba, ba, ba" and swinging the wand all at the same time. And you know he's thinking "that dang door keeps getting in the way and ruining my show!!" The funny part is that just before this was taken he was getting so frustrated b/c he didn't have the strap around his neck and couldn't do all the cool moves at once! He is at the stage where he imitates everything and anything his sister does...it's so cute to see them together. Mayah gets a big kick out of this and is always trying to get him to copy her. This past week has been a good one for us...Jason's work schedule has been pretty much non-existant. He's been going in to the office for only a couple of hours in the morning (if that) and then the rest of the day we'll just hang out or find something fun to do. I think it will be like this until after labor day - yeah!! That's why I haven't been posting much lately, just been to busy doing nothing! Our house is a wreck too...I can never bring myself to clean when Jason is around, just doesn't seem like a good use of my time :-)
