I am pleased to introduce the newest member of our family...my double jogger. I have been searching and debating for months about which one to get, and as any of you know who are in the stroller market, it is a major decision. So here it is and I couldn't be happier...I would recommend it to anyone. The first day we got it the kids were so excited that all they wanted to do was push each other around the house in it and watch tv while sitting in it, there was no air in the tires yet so this would have to do for now. So the very next morning we followed daddy out bright and early to fill up the wheels, I made Jason do it for me because I'm always afraid I'll pop the tire by putting in too much air. So I bundled up the kids (it's still a little chilly here in the mornings), packed plenty of snacks and drinks for the kids AND me (only a pregnant woman would think of packing herself snacks on her morning workout) and off we went. I am so so happy to be semi-exercising again. The non-prego me usually jogs regularly, but ever since I found out I was pregnant this time I quit doing anything that required me to break a sweat, so it definitely feels good to be doing something again...hopefully it will give me more energy b/c I've been so tired lately!Thursday, August 02, 2007

2 things. 1. Connor looks EXACTLY like Jason. I can't get over it every time I see a picture or video of him. It really is like Jason is just shrunk down to miniature size. 2. I love the video of Mayah and Conner dancing for Jason's birthday. Tell Jason that for Abram's birthday I think he would really like for Mayah to teach Jason the choreography and then Jason can make a happy birthday video for Abram :)
Does the front wheel swivel? I like my double jogger, but it doesn't swivel and that bugs. At first glance, I thought it was the chariot!!! That would be a cause for lots of jealousy. :)
What kind did you get? We're wishing we had a BOB or a Chariot. Not sure it's going to happen quite yet, but I'm hoping!!
Kristin, a little secret of Jason's is that when we were in college he would always help me with choreographing my dance routines. He would do it as a total joke, but I would still put it in...so I'm sure he'd be all for a birthday routine for Abram!! Jana & Natalie, yes the front wheel does swivel & lock so I can jog with it too. It's actually a Schwinn...the other one I was going to get was the BOB (I loved the mesa orange)so I love that one as well. They both have the same specs (very thin & as light as you can get with a double) so the one thing that changed my mind was when I tried fitting in them in my car I realized I would have to buy yet another double stroller for everyday use, so the Schwinn was like $200 cheaper and as much as I wanted the BOB mesa orange one I couldn't justify paying that much more just for the color when I knew I would be buying an everyday one soon. Probably way more info than you wanted, but that's the whole story!! love you all.
