Tonight we rediscovered the joy of having a dollar theater close by. We went to see Shrek III and I was honestly having flashbacks of Movies 8 in Provo, UT. Jason and I used to go there every weekend during college. That was back in the day when we had a $20 date budget and could get dinner and a movie for that cheap!! Laurel (Jason's sister) and I would sneak in microwave popcorn under our shirts pretending we were pregnant. Although we didn't sneak in any popcorn tonight, we were able to enjoy the fact that it only cost us 4 bucks to see a movie...I'm sure we'll become regulars from now on!

Love it!! We are going to the dollar theather in 30 minutes to see that same movie. Can't wait! :) It's the only way to go! Thank goodness for huge diaper bags that can fit my huge diet coke in it. :)
I miss Movies 8!!!
Gotta love the diaper bags!! They are way more convenient than smuggling stuff in under your clothes. Astrid, I don't have any specific memories of us going to Movies 8 together, but I know we spent many an evening there together in college...and btw you'll be able to relive your movies 8 experience once you move back...just add that to your list of good reasons to move back!! That and Cafe Rio.
