A long day...

...went to the doctors yesterday for the kids yearly well appointments. The appt. time was 3:30pm, so let's see...that would be around 7:30am Singapore time. No biggie if the kids had been sleeping up until that time, but of course they weren't, so basically they pulled an all nighter. And this was after Mayah's first day back to school (which, she absolutely loved btw...she was sooooo excited for all the attention that goes along with being the new kid). So needless to say it was a LONG day. I scheduled all 3 appointments for the same time so I could get them over and done with. I always have mixed feelings about these group appts b/c yes, it is sooooo nice to only have to go once, but on the other hand the kids are always on their worst behavior by the time it is done. So, given the fact that they were dead tired (and I mean constantly switching from falling asleep standing up, bouncing off the walls psychotically, and giving me major attitude) it was an extremely stressful 2 1/2 hours. Anyways, the main reason for this post is to document Ava's stats at her yearly visit. I feel obligated to do this since the blog is pretty much the only 'baby book' she's going to get as of now. Here goes: weight=19 lbs (10th %) and height=50th percentile (forget the actual #). Just for the records...Connor is 31 lbs (50th %) and 25th percentile for height. Mayah is 45 lbs (50th %) and 25th percentile for height. Looking at the numbers they are definitely average...take the numbers away and their anything but :-)!

*as a side note I always wonder if the doctors think I'm an unfit mom when they hear me bribe my kids with milkshakes on the way home every time we come in for appointments...I know I've got to be known as the milkshake mom by now!

I like the new layout... nice Sandy Sandy.

"My milkshake brings all the boys to the town...." is in my head now - thank you very much.

Glad you are back.

Can't wait to talk to you when you get a moment. Call whenever, other than middle of the night... since you are probably trying to get back into the groove of sleeping in this time-zone.

I do the same thing. Everyone all together. And by the end I am dripping sweat. And then we go straight to McDonalds for fries and shakes. Mostly for me. :) I just got all caught up on your life and I am seriously jealous of all the awesome things you guys are doing. Lucky you!!!
