Star of the week

Mayah was "star of the week" in her class this week. She was so excited and loved all the attention she got from her classmates and her teacher. On Tuesday she brought one of her favorite books to read to the class, on Wednesday she got to bring in a "me bag" to show the class a few things that would describe her, and the best part was a book all the kids in the class made just for her. We made a poster to display in the classroom...it had magazine cut outs of some of her favorite things (computer, dolls, books, soccer, dance, castle/princesses, crafts, cooking, tea parties, jewelry, and writing), and some of her dislikes (veggies, boo boos, spiders, fighting, and X's on her chart). Her 3 wishes were...1) for a unicorn that can fly, 2) for super powers so she can fly very fast, and 3) that she was a real princess. Her career choices were a police officer and a mommy.
