Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
Today was Mayah's first Kindergarten field trip. Jason stayed home with Connor so I was able to be a shaparone. I figured this would be the last thing I'll be able to do with her class for a while so I took advantage. Also I was hoping the wagon ride would put me into labor :-) Mayah, of course, loved that I was going along and was excited to show me off to all of her friends. It was quite the task to keep my eye on 7 excited/hyper kindergarteners!! We started the day out on the bus...a big deal for kindergarteners. Once we got there we loaded the wagons and headed out to pet the animals. I'm not a big fan of petting farms (eww!!), but all the kids loved it. Next we picked radishes, carrots, onions and beans. Mayah was a bit worried about this part last night because someone told her they HAD to eat the vegetables. Then we loaded the wagons and it was off the the corn maze. The kids all thought this was awesome and were running around as fast as they could to get to the middle of the maze. Finally we picked pumpkins (nothing larger than they could hold themselves) and loaded up to go back to school. Of course the littlest kids picked out the biggest pumpkins and could barely carry them all the way home!! I told them to get out their muscles because I wasn't about to carry 7 pumpkins all the way home!!

The lone white girl, I love it. Her hair is getting so long! Can't wait to see you.
Whitney,
I was thinking the very same thing. She will be well educated in diversity.
Sandy,
What fun to go on a field trip with your little girl. There will be more chances when Pappy and I are in California for months at a time in the future : )
Love you all, Mom
I love that the pumpkins are all lined up. Nothing like having it all set out for you. That makes it easy. :) She is too cute.
