Making life easier...

Here are a couple of goodies I've recently acquired that are going to make my life a little easier over here in Singapore...

Item #1: My new baby carrier...holds up to 45 lbs so I could even carry Mayah in it :-) I will NOT be attempting that no matter how much she insists!! I can carry Ava either on my back or on my front. And seeing as we don't have a car we are doing an insane amount of walking. I brought over my double stroller, but that's not really an option b/c the city is hard enough to navigate with a single stroller...lots of stairs and not so many ramps. So my big plan is to wear Ava and push Connor or Mayah. C & M get so tired from all the walking that I had to figure something else out...and this was my big solution.

I also have to include this little blurb from their website that I thought was humorous: { Better Bonding = Easier Discipline. Item # 2: Isn't it beautiful in all of it's pink glory?? You might have noticed an increase in the frequency of my posts. I guess that could be attributed to a couple of things...my new computer that I am in love with and/or me feeling that I am on the other side of the world away from my friends and family. Oh, wait I am on the other side of the world away from my friends and family :-( So this little beaut is helping me feel more "connected" to everything. I was going crazy for the first couple of weeks not having access to the Internet while Jason was at work...talk about feeling like a shut in!! We were trying to think of names for my new computer. Mayah's says we should call it pinky. I'm taking suggestions so send your cute, clever and witty ideas my way! Jason brought this with him when he came back (alone) from the states. He said that when he went through security he felt like he had to say "it's for my wife, I swear" and when he did someone yelled out "I knew that wasn't his". And later when he saw someone in the airport they said "hey it's the pink laptop guy!!" I don't know why he was ashamed to be carrying around my pink notebook -it's hot.

So, no more Sandy the shut in...I'll be able to navigate and enjoy the city more with my baby carrier and I'll be able to surf the web, blog, and watch all my favorite shows with my new notebook (very important stuff). Hooray for me!!
