Festival...

Our apartment building had a celebration last friday. There was TONS of food (always a key ingredient to a great party) and these cool lanterns that the kids were able to light and walk around the pool with after it got dark...fun, fun. The entire hotel staff is so good with the kids. They are always playing with them and taking them on little adventures/walks. I swear I only saw Connor and Mayah for half the evening b/c someone from the hotel staff was always wisking them away to give me a break. Jason wasn't there so they probably felt bad that I had all three of the kids to take care of by myself at the party. One lady also said something that I thought was humerous, she said "Where is your husband all the time? We always see him leave early in the morning, but never see him come home at night" (they don't stay at the front desk 24/7 so he must get home after it's closed) This was funny 1) b/c I wanted to say "welcome to my life!!" (my Singapore life, that is) and 2) b/c people are pretty blunt over here and don't hesitate to tell me what's on their minds about my family :-) Work has been pretty intense for Jason to say the least. He has left work before 2am only twice since we've been here and those 2 nights were midnight and 9:30pm. Poor guy needs a major break!
