This morning Mayah and Jason woke up bright and early for the "Donuts with Dad" event that her school is putting on today. She was very excited not only for the promise of yummy donuts, but also having a special Daddy daughter date. After breakfast Mayah is taking a field trip to the Post Office with her class. It's fun to see her get so excited over any little "special event" that goes on in her daily routine. After school we wisked Mayah and everyone else off to the famed Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. Our friends Whitney and Spencer were staying there this week and we were lucky enough to bum an afternoon off of them and hang out by the pool. It is an amazing hotel/resort that sits right on the ocean and has every ammenity imaginable. I felt spoiled just being there for an afternoon!! I asked Jason when he was bringing me back....he just laughed :-) I brought my camera hoping to take some pictures of the Brintons and us (everytime we hang out I forget to get a group picture of all of us...I guess I get too wrapped up in all the fun we have and don't remember), but of course I forgot!! Love you Brintys!! And wish you lived even closer!!

We love you too! Can't believe we forgot, once again, to take pictures. What is my deal?!? Once the hectic two year old we have was strapped in the car and the car doors were shut Spencer and I just sat there for a min. and wished we lived closer to you guys. We always miss you. Spencer loved talking to Jason and seeing you all. I loved snuggling Ava, what seemed to be a split second, and watching the "train" boys together and of course Miss Mayah... she is as beautiful as ever.
We seriously need to just blackout a day to see you guys and that is it. Love you!!!
Sorry, again, it was so rushed... it always seems to be rushed when we visit... I hate that!
