Mayah is really into making up plays/performances. She'll give me specific lines that I have to say, then she'll have a specific response and so on and so forth. And believe me if I'm only half listening and don't get the "lines" word for word she'll be all over me!! Other than her play wrights, she is really into putting on a Disney soundtrack and acting out the entire thing. Another passion of her's is to choreograph dances with Connor as her principle dancer. This is hilarious to watch because he, of course, doesn't always get what she wants him to do and if he doesn't do it for her exactly as she specified she'll get really frustrated! What a little diva we have!! Connor also loses interest after the 10th time that Mayah is wanting to rehearse...this, of course, is unacceptable!
Here is the script to the following video...it took me a couple trys to get my lines straight because I am sitting at the computer only half listening to what I'm supposed to be saying.
Me: Here, let me play your harmonica for you.
Mayah: No, that's okay.
Me: How are you feeling?
Mayah: Oh, I don't know. Just a little blue, I guess.
* I guess she wanted to capture the bluesy mood of her harmonica song.
This next video is a tribute to the Valentines card the kids picked out for Jason. They are for sure getting much more use out of this card than he ever will!! Mayah also choreographed a dance with her and Connor in it to this card/song, but I didn't get a video b/c Connor didn't want anything more to do with the dance after the millionth time rehearsing it.

Mayah's definitely the little performer! I'd love to see Connor's routine if he ever lets her get him to do it again. I loved both performances!
I can't get the videos to work. Buggin. But I am totally picture her dancing. I remember Mayah! And I am so jealous that your kids can wear flip flops!!! What the heck. Jackson's school was canceled last week because of snow and ice. Get me out of here!!!!
Mayah really knows how to use all of the dance floor. I expect to see her on the next season of Dance Wars!!!

What a crack-up! Every time I read one of your Mayah stories I can't help but think how similar she and Keely are!
I want to put Mayah in my pocket and bring her home with me.
So I'm pretty sure Mayah and Hannah would be best friends. Hannah loves to act out everything and direct me on what to say and do. Boy if I don't get the lines right, I'm in trouble.
