Connor's babblings...

Connor has been going around saying "choo choo bird" every time he has a train in his hands (which is the majority of the time) for about 2 months now. Jason, Mayah and I were just like okay whatever you say crazy man...it really isn't that abnormal for Connor to repeat stuff over and over without any of us knowing what he's talking about so we really didn't give it much thought. The only thing that was puzzling us was...where in the world was he pulling "bird" from? I mean there aren't any birds anywhere near his trains, etc. So finally about a week ago Connor and I were playing on his train table and he said it again, only this time he added "choo choo a bird". I looked at him and said are you saying "choo choo all aboard?!" You should have see his face! His eyes got all big and round and this huge smile spread over his face...he shook his head and said "yea, choo choo a bird!!" You could just tell that he was so excited to finally be understood. How cute! So now he's mastered the saying a bit more and has progressed to "choo choo ahhhh board" he's very proud of himself. Another comment on the progression of his speaking abilities...he has been calling Mayah and Ava "yas" and "baby yas" forever, but just yesterday he FINALLY figured out it's really "sis" and has started saying it correctly. The only thing is that with our new found excitement over this he has been really proud of himself and is repeatedly saying "sis, sis, sis, sis" over and over again in a high pitched voice trying to get Mayah's attention. Well, Mayah informed me last night in the car (after a long and tiring day)... "I'm really starting to hate it when he calls me sis!!" Ha! Okay, okay I have to include just one more, sorry if this is extremely boring, but I have to record it because as a parent I think it's adorable :-) Until just recently Connor's word of choice has been "yes" for the longest time. A week ago he surprised us with a variation on his usual "yes" with a "suuuure". Of course, we were like "aww what a cute little boy he is". So, needless to say, wherever he used to put a "yes" in his sentences, it is now replaced by a resounding, enthusiastic "suuuure!" in his cute little boy voice, all while smiling and nodding his head profusely.

Here is Connor's signature stance, hands in pockets. I think he got it from Daddy...my two studs!

If Connor isn't downstairs playing at his train table chances are he's up in our bathtub pushing his trains around the outer edge like this...usually he has about 10-12 trains all in a line, but in this picture they are all scattered on the floor so he settled for four!!

I love it! I can't imagine how frustrating it is for him not being understood. Watch out now he'll become a little chatter box like his big sis was. I love his new hair doo. He looks so grown-up!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe how big he is getting. I CAN believe how cute he is, because he always has been, but he looks like he's turning into a big boy now. Oh, so cute!!!

wow, hard to believe that he, max and hudson are all boys now, talking, and spiking their hair. pretty soon they'll all be hittin' on the little girls in nursery. of course, hudson's probably been doing that for 6 months already.

That is the cutest ever. He is so big. I love hearing all the words he says with your spelling. They totally make sense to me. :)
