Jason and I were both thrilled when we saw how amazing this little cider mill was. Not only did they have this cute cider mill where I took the pictures, but apparently this entire town up in the hills is filled with apple orchards and cider mills....they even have a few strips of cute little curio shops and other shops you'd expect to find in a town filled with orchards. I was especially excited to find a cider mill that made cider donuts. This fall tradition is so special to us because Jason's family owns a cider mill in Kansas and I grew up going to the cider mill every chance I got. The kids and I LOVED the donuts and hot cider and Jason loved talking to the owner and getting her to give him a special tour of their cider press...or apple press, whatever it's called ;-) He was surprised at how small and old it was (over 100 years)...I guess their press at the Louisburg Cider Mill in KS is huge.

We had so much fun going there with you. The ride out there was beautiful too.
You kids are just way to cool!
Hi Sandy--I check your blog every day and I'm wondering how your Christmas went and am hoping that you are having a great New Year 2011.
P.S. I loved seeing Jason at Alexis' wedding in November. I hope you and the kids are all doing well. They are all so beautiful!
Love, Grandma O'Rear
