We're here....
Connor started preschool a week ago and is loving it! He seems to have stepped right into the flow of things even though it's mid-year. The only things his teacher mentioned to me were 1) keeping his shoes on when they are on the playground and 2) work on getting him to keep his shoes, pants and underwear on when he has to go #2. He has a hard time getting on the toilet when his pants are around his ankles so off they come!! I had to laugh b/c I just imagined Connor coming out of the bathroom (it's in the classroom) with only his shirt on and nothing down below, asking for help...his teacher said that isn't what happened~thankfully!
He talks about school all the time and he absolutely loves that he is doing something "grown up" like big sis. This past Thur. they had an in school field trip where the lizard lady came and they got to touch lots of lizards, turtles and snakes...fun stuff for a 3 1/2 year old boy. Mrs. J. says she can tell he really loves it when they do their art projects and that he's very good at jumping right in and playing with the other kids. No shyness for him that's for sure.
