This past weekend Jason, Ava and I took a trip down to Mexico. My mom has been in town for the past 3 weeks so we took advantage and took off for a couple of days. Jason's best friend from Germany, Derek, had a destination wedding in La Fonda (yes, La Fonda, just like in Napoleon Dynamite). It was absolutely gorgeous. They were married on the terrace of the resort where we stayed which was right on the beach. We've never been to a destination wedding before and it was so much fun for both of us. Jason's cousin Alexis was there as well...that was awesome for me because then I had someone there that I knew too. We took walks on the beach, bought some souvenirs, hung out, and ate lots and lots and lots of yummy Mexican food (it was good, but I'm sure it'll be a while before I crave Mexican food again) Here are some pictures from the weekend...okay, it's more than some, but I couldn't pick and choose so I just put them all up

That looks like it was so much fun, you guys are so lucky to live in and be so close to such a beautiful area. I wish Utah were on the ocean.

I just happened to check in on your blog and I found it really funny that you remembered something like "Lafawnduh" from Napoleon Dynamite. I actually had a role in developing that name for the movie. I'll tell you the story if I see you at church.
Can I tell you how jealous I am of you?!!! That sounds like so much fun. Why don't any of my friends have destination weddings?
