sleepy heads...

(yes, this is a self portrait and yes, I hate it (the part with me in it, that is),but I needed to include it b/c I have so few pictures with me in them with the kids.)

I love the time when the kids have just woken up from their naps and are still extremely cuddly and sleepy. It doesn't last nearly long enough before they are up and running around again at full speed so I have to enjoy every second of it. The picture above of Ava is one of my favorites...this is how her hair looks almost every time I retrieve her from the crib (Flock of Seagulls anyone?)...a true sign that she has enjoyed her nap! She also does this weird thing with her tongue every time she smiles...she'll stick it out really long then bust into a huge grin - very cute. I also love the blanket marks on Connor's face in his picture...another sign of a great nap!
