My cute little accessory...

Although Ava is my personal little adorable accessory that I can wear on my hip...I am actually referring to the cute flower headband that she is so proudly showing off in this picture. I was so excited about this little beaute I made today that I just had to put up a picture to show it off :-) The only color I had for the actual head band thingy was tan, but I am thinking about redoing it with a white band tomorrow...or whenever I get around to it. I'm not sure if you can see the middle part of the flower, but it's kind of an antiquey looking brad that I found. I am loving all things antiquey right now. I made quite a few of these tonight so I'm sure you'll be seeing them in many pictures to come (and the regular little flowers stuck to the head, of course!! We still LOVE those). Man I love the girly accessories...if only I could get away with wearing one of those on my head, then I'd really be in heaven :-)

Each time I think Ava just can't get any cuter you come up with an even cuter picture of her! She is just precious!

Sandy,
I have to comment on like four of your posts! I am so out of it! First off, you need to start selling those headbands on ebay! Second, that is so precious that Mayah is into reading! Third, I can't believe Ava is 6 months old- she is soooooo precious! Fourth- I'm jealous of your girls weekend! Looks like you had a great time! Finally- are you guys coming to Michigan at all this summer?

Okay - just for my information... what is a "brad"?!?!!? I guess it is true, you can't take the midwest out of a gal. hehe. No- but seriously? What is a brad?? I know what I see, but to what are you referring? Oh the joy. (can you hear me laughing? Do you remember the countless moments I have teased you about this?)

More importantly: HOW CUTE IS AVA? I love the headband. And I do think you could pull it off... you would start a whole new trend.

Okay - all the brads (yes right word) I have come in contact with have been little silver ones used in elementary/schools in general. Sooooo... my bad. I was just wanting to give you a hard time. I really thought it was a beret, and you used the word "brad" for beret, that is what prompted the tease. Anyhow - sorry about that.
