Our baby boy turned 2 years old today. Up until exactly 2 weeks ago (when we had Ava) Connor was our little baby. I honestly saw him as this tiny little boy who was so cuddley and always wanted me to treat him as a baby. I guess he still wants me to do everything for him...what can I say, he's a mommas boy...but now he just seams like a giant next to Ava. I definitely need to get him potty trained because every time I change his diaper I feel like I am wrestling with a giant! And let me tell you I would take a newborn diaper any day over a two year old beast child's diaper! With that being said, though, I do love, love, love my boy. There really is something special about how a boy loves his momma. We always call Connor our little peacemaker because he is just so innocent and always wanting to make us happy.
Connor was spoiled this year with everything trains!! He is addicted to anything and everything that has to do with a train...especially Thomas. I have no idea what it is about the Thomas characters that he loves so much, but he is definitely obsessed. They are the most boring videos to watch too and that's what he requests almost 98% of the time...yeah!!
Mommy and Daddy won some major points with this train table set!!
Grammy and Pappy found this for him and knew he would love it...he rides around the house all day on this. Gotta love the ghetto fabulous Thomas jammies too! I can convince him to go to bed very easily when I tell him his "Momas" jammies are up waiting for him :-)
For their birthday dinner we made a trip to the Rainforest Cafe. The kids loved all the animals and stuff going on. We just loved that they were entertained the entire time so we actually got to enjoy our dinners too!
Yes, Connor still loves putting on shows for everyone. This is his favorite "stage" for doing just that...front and center. If anyone missed his previous performance you can check it out here!!

The same thing happened to me with Max. Especially his head. It is HUGE.

And, YES THOMAS VIDEOS ARE SOOOOOO DULL AND BORING! Hannah use to be into it a ton too, and fortunately some other queer things like Yo Gabba Gabba have come along to take it's place. It's seriously insane, you would think the creators of the show were on a total acid trip.
