Grammy's visit...

We had so much fun having Grammy visit with us this past week and a half!! I am trying to convince my parents to move out to Cali for at least half the year now that they're retired so I can get some free babysitters....I mean so their grand kids can get to know them even better :-) Connor refused to call my mom Grammy and instead adopted "Bubba" as his name for her. We all thought it was hilarious so I'm sure that just egged him on. It's always nice to have Grammy for a visitor because she is very easy going and doesn't care if we go out or if we sit around the house all day. Some of the fun things we did while she was here were go to the beach, walk around Balboa peninsula and eat on the pier, get our nails done, go for walks, go to the pool, take naps, read books...you know all the usual vacation stuff. She'll be making another appearance in less than a month when the baby comes, but she'd better not be expecting to have any fun... I am putting her straight to work waiting on me hand and foot!! Only joking momma!

This was Mayah's first trip to the salon for a manicure and pedicure. She was in heaven and thought she was the luckiest girl alive, she's been looking forward to doing this for a long time!! She picked pink for her hands and blue (her favorite color) for her toes...with polka dots. Grammy and mommy enjoyed the same pampering, but without the bright colors and dots :-)
