Water park fun!
Over Labor Day weekend we decided to make an impromptu trip to Utah. We decided Wednesday evening that we would make the 9.5 hour drive in the middle of the night. Crazy I know. Especially being 8 months pregnant. I will never do that again, that's for sure! But as uncomfortable as I was during the drive I was glad it was in the middle of the night so both kids were fast asleep pretty much the entire drive....yeah! And we had such a great time that I'm very glad we went. John, Becki, Cailyn, Emily, Sara, and Lauren were all there too so that made it even more fun. Mayah had a blast hanging out with her cousins and was sad to leave. It was also funny to see Connor in the mix with all those girls too.
It's been a good 5 years since we've been back so while we were there we made a point of revisiting all of our previous residences and all the places we loved to go. (Especially the restaurants we both missed profusely!) On our list of must see's were....visiting BYU (and of course, eating at the Cougareat!), going to Park City to get ice cream while we walked around, driving through Provo Canyon, and hiking to Bridal Veil Falls. Jason and I used to float down the Provo river that flows through Provo Canyon on cheap-o rafts with our friends a few times every summer. It was always sooooo cold that our entire bodies would go numb after the first five minutes. I also remember fearing for my life each and everytime and wondering why I kept doing this to myself!
We also made a trip to the local kiddie water park. Everyone had so much fun...Cailyn and Emily especially loved the huge water slides...I couldn't believe how brave they were! I think I get more chicken as the years go by.

Sandy, These pictures are soooo sweet. What a fun trip. Although, I do admire your willingness to make the trek at 8 mos pregnant - that's a big trek!
I have to say, however, these pics do not count - Can I please see some of your cute little baby belly? From these pics you can't even tell that you are pregnant!!
