He finally woke up after about a million pictures...I'm sure the click, click, click of my camera gets pretty annoying! I wanted to make sure to include one of his big eyes. He's so alert a lot of the day now. And so chill too. He just lays there and looks around with those big blue eyes of his. I love when he cranes his neck and eyes to look up at me...it makes all these cute, old man wrinkles on his forehead...his cute little lips are all puckered and ready for a kiss in this picture too ~ he's so lovable.
Please, mom just let me sleep...
So I wrap him up tight and off he goes to slumberland again...
Bennett is our little sleeping miracle. He sleeps in a cradle right next to my side of the bed. The first night he came home from the hospital I was a little nervous about what kind of sleeper he was going to be. He woke up every few hours to either nurse or have his binkie put back into his mouth. This was not making mommy the happiest of campers. I think Bennett caught my frustrated vibes and decided to shape up the next night
(and every night from then on, hallelujah). I usually give him a bath
(which he absolutely loves) right before I swaddle him up tight and put him down for bed. Now he sleeps from 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. I know, you can hate me if you want :-) But don't worry I'm sure this won't last forever...I'm just truly counting my blessings while it lasts.

Oh, I can't take it!! He is seriously one of the cutest babies ever!!! And I WILL hate you since he is sleeping that good. Or at least be super jealous of you!!!
For real? How is it that all your babes are good sleepers, from what I remember.
