Catch phrases...

There have been some cute catch phrases going around our house lately that I wanted to make sure I captured. Ava: (in a drawn out exaggerated voice) "Nnnooo waaay!" or just "Noooooo" I can't really describe how it sounds, but it's a lot cuter in person than typed on the computer. She uses it in all situations too..."Ava, do you want to play with this toy?" "Nooooo waaay!", "Ava, come and eat your dinner" "Nooooo waaay!". She talks a lot (reminds me of another little girl I know, Mayah) and she can get away with anything when she uses that adorable little voice of hers. I mean, just the fact that she gets away with telling us all "Noooo waaay!" and us thinking it's the cutest, funniest thing in the world tells you how spoiled and adored she is around here.

Connor: when he is informing us of something especially crucial in his world he likes to start by saying "Actually......." with his pointer finger raised to emphasise importance (sometimes coming out as Actuawy, making it even funnier). Another thing he does a lot to finish up a story he is telling or some explanation he is giving is to say ".........and Blah, Blah, Blah," while rolling his eyes and tilting his head from side to side. So funny.

Mayah doesn't have any specific catch phrases to speak of...just her every day words of wisdom that she hands out to us...and believe me she has a lot of them. And trying to talk her way out of getting busted ~ she loves to do that! I guess she's past the age of saying embarrassing things that I can share with everyone. She does, however, love coming up with jokes and riddles all on her own that are quite unique to say the least. Next time she gives me a good example I'll be sure to share it with you.
