Did anyone besides me make up dances with their friends on recess in elementary school?? I LOVED doing that when I was in elementary school. Mayah and her friends have been making up this routine for months to Miley Cyrus' version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" on recess. And about a week before her school talent show she informed me they wanted to try out to see if they would make it. I thought it was a really cute idea, but made sure she would be okay if they didn't end up making it (about 100 kids tried out and they could only pick 20 acts). So I thought their chances were kind of slim with a "recess" routine, but a week later she came home with the most exciting news ever! In her words. She had a lot of fun performing her routine for the school and for the parents...and we had a lot of fun watching her perform something that she worked so hard creating all on her own.
