Week 17...

I am finally starting to have a little bit of a belly so I thought it would be a good time to officially start posting some pictures. I know you might look at this picture and be really annoyed b/c really there isn't much of an actual "belly" as of yet, but this time around has been really different. I haven't started showing as early as I did for the other 3 pregnancies so now that I'm finally getting past the "gut" stage and into the "kind of looking pregnant" stage I have to say I'm a little excited :-) I think the baby has just been camping out in my butt for the first 4 months because that has had no problem looking pregnant!! Ha ha! I do have to admit to taking this picture this past Friday night after a BIG dinner at On The Border. I always look a LOT more pregnant after a big meal and especially at the end of the day.

This was as good of a side shot that I could manage by myself because you might have noticed my extra large and extra heavy camera...not the easiest to handle when trying to contort my body to the side as I've come to realize (the lens is a beast...but I am in love with it and all it can do). So this picture is actually documenting my 2 new babies that I am welcoming into our family. Of course, the most important, our actual flesh and blood baby, but also not coming in too far behind in the importance category (only joking~slightly) is my new dslr camera that I have been drooling over for quite some time now. It is a Canon 50d with a 18-200mm lens and let me just say that I am in LOVE. (Thank you, thank you, thank you Whitney for all of the info and answers to my questions that you have given me.) This little beaut was my birthday present from the most amazing husband...you spoil me way too much Jason, thank you. So needless to say that I have been taking millions of pictures with my new baby (and, no, I am not exaggerating) and I totally feel like a professional! I have so much to learn about how to use my camera and am so excited to figure it out...definitely will be needing some classes. So get ready for some major posting of all the pictures I've been taking lately!

You can barely see a bump in this pic but I will vouch for it! I could see it one month ago at Jamie and Rory's wedding - so everyone there really is a bump there!

Sandy you look so cute and I love the camera!

YIPPEEE.... may I say how hot you look taking that picture. With your nice "neck candy" you've got goin' on. You will fall more and more in love with that camera, promise. It is SO much more than fun. Can't wait to see everything you post.

Also - let's just talk about your HUGE belly. Really? I am so not having any more children after looking at this picture. This is just not fair to the rest of us. :) You look wonderful. 17 weeks - you look like me at 9 weeks.

YOU ARE FREAKING HUGE!!!!!! I mean that's what I look like right now, and I'm going in tomorrow to have my baby!

Um, yeah just kidding obviously. I wish I looked that good when I'm not pregnant. I'm so excited to find out what you're having!

Way jealous of the new camera, mine is an inferior model, but I hope that if one day I fully understand it I can upgrade!
