"Journey To The Past" - Anastasia

These pictures are back from around recital time, but I haven't gotten around to posting them until now. I was almost going to just forget about it since it's almost two months later, but I thought the pictures were just too good to resist. I must also give myself some credit for my major cost cutting scheme...I was going to have her pictures taken on picture day at the studio, but the prices were ridiculous. So my big idea was to take her to Target for her own little photo session. I could have gotten out of there with just one sheet for $3.99, but you know how it is once you see all the cute pictures of your child you're sucked in to buying way more...but for 30 bucks I got a TON! Whereas, at the studio 30 bucks would have basically gotten me a sitting fee!! At the end of the session they asked me if I wanted to jump in some of the pictures with Mayah since my shirt matched her costume...I was so mad because if I'd know they were going to ask me to do that I would have showered or at least put on some make up! So, needless to say, I didn't actually purchase any of the ones with me in them :-(
