Yes, that's right we are going out of the country on a little adventure. A trip you ask? Welllll, not really, more like a 4 month uprooting of our little clan. Where? Drum roll please...Singapore. Crazy I know. I didn't do a happy birthday post for Jason a couple of Monday's ago on the 28th, but I guess you could call this his birthday present. Why? Well, he called me up on his birthday and was like "So how would you feel about moving to Singapore for a few months?" I said "Suuurre, I guess, why not?" So it was as quick as that, not really any time to think about it. So he called back and told them I was on board. Looking back I know it was a good thing I didn't have any time to really think about what I was getting myself into because now I am having some major anxiety about the whole thing...mainly about the logistics of it all and how I'm going to make living in a city more densely populated than New York City with 3 small kids work. My mom already has her flight booked so she'll be there to help out a ton...thank you, thank you, thank you...we're going to make some amazing memories there mom, I'm glad you're able to be there to experience it with us :-) I am sooooo excited though for all of the unique things we are going to be able to experience. Hopefully lots of traveling to the surrounding countries. So, yes, I am excited, but also a bit nervous - which can only be expected, right?
I also have to say that I am not looking forward to the 18 hour flight around the world either. You should have seen me at Target yesterday buying tons of "bribe" stuff like a mad woman. Jason could only laugh because he's the one who brought this all on :-)
**Oh yea, we leave in one week!! WHAT??!!

WHAT!?! That's so freaking exciting! I'm actually kind of jealous. I have a friend from BYU whose parents are living over there right now, I can ask her for their info if you want. Is your mom staying the entire 4 months with you? Do you still rent your place in California? Wow, so much to ask . . . That's awesome though, I'm so excited and jealous. I bet there will be some awesome shopping there with all the factories there and stuff. Man, so cool!
Wow. I can't believe it is real. What an amazing opportunity. It will be such a cool experience for the whole fam. And, can't believe you're leaving in a week! That is CAH-RAZY! I want to call you up right now - so much to talk about - but it is 8 a.m. here so it is 5 a.m. at your house... guess I'll wait till later. P.S. Your new title photo at the top of the blog is soooo beautiful of everyone, but you especially belong in the "hot moms club."
WHAT!!! That is so awesome. I am actually jealous of that experience you are going to have. I say take it while you can. And a few months? That is totally doable. Just don't stop posting. :)
I was only gone 2 weeks, what the heck?! Let me know if you need help getting ready. I think you're crazy for doing it...but envious too. There's no better time than now, right?
Oh wow, what a fun opportunity and adventure!!! Have a wonderful time!!!
Wow! Sandy, that's so awesome! Mike's cousins lived in Singapore for a long time and they loved it. Good luck getting everything ready. You can do it! I can't wait to see pictures when you guys get back.
You were suppose yo call me and tell me if it was a go! wellll... I guess you have had your hands full.
I can't believe you are headed there in a couple days...yikes! I hear it is beautiful and it will be worth all the craziness of it all. I would be nervous too... good luck on the flight and I need to talk to you before you uproot. Not that you have time for a call. Email us when you get there and let me know if you are alright.
Are you home for Christmas? You better be home by Feb - cruise time.
Love ya
Hope the flight went well... thinking of you.
Loved talking to you the other night. when I got off the phone with you I looked over and Hudson was out for the night... it was great.
So I'm pretty much dying to find out if you made it and how the "squatters" are working out for you, and all the other details!!!!
That's so amazing! I have only heard good things about Singapore. Take advantage and have the time of your life!
