Ava's new hangout

I just got this new little chair for Ava. It's so cute to see her mushy little body sitting so perfectly in it. It's amazing that she doesn't just tip out! Don't mind the pile of laundry in the second video...I was folding the laundry with all the kids helping (which we all know really means twice as much work for me) when Ava started chatting it up and I figured I should get it on tape. She's been cooing for about a month now, but everytime I bust out the camera she gets shy and stops doing it. If I'm just holding her and looking at her she'll "talk" to me for a really long time. It's so cute seeing her try so hard to communicate. Also don't mind Connor being a boy and trying to shine a bright light in his sisters eyes. Connor's communication skills have also picked up in the last few weeks. I am amazed at how much kids can change in such a short time. He has finally started putting together 3 or 4 word sentences. Granted Jason and I are probably the only ones who can actually translate what he is saying, but as his mother I can see the wheels working...finally :-) Another favorite thing of his is to try and repeat whatever it is that I'm saying. When he does this it comes out as one big long slurred jumble of words, which I, of course can translate since I just said it seconds before :-)
