Ava has a hard time falling asleep when I leave her in her bedroom for nap time (or bed time sometimes). She likes to play...I know, I know, I should really just take all the toys out of her room, but my dilemma is this: too many toys, not enough space. So for my sanity; so I don't feel that toys are over taking my house, and therefore my life, I have to keep some of the kids' toys shoved away in the deep, dark corners of their rooms. If you're reading this Jason let me just emphasize yet again...we need a bigger house :-) (he LOVES it when I bring this to his attention ~ as you can imagine) I mean poor, sweet Bennett is sleeping in our closet for crying out loud! I say all this mostly joking ~ for now, mostly joking. So this picture is how I found Ava once she fell asleep for the night...newly accessorized & with the light on. For some reason she can't go to sleep without the light on. I didn't capture the permanent state of disaster her room is constantly in...I figure between nap time and bed time, and her pulling out all of her toys and clothes, I can justify picking up every few days, otherwise what's the point, really?
