Jog-A-Thon...

Mayah ran her little heart out for her school in their annual Jog-A-Thon. She was determined to beat her record from last year...I can't remember how many laps she did last year (I think around 18), but this year she ran 23 ~ amazing job Mayah!! She was really proud of that number and more importantly she was proud of how hard she tried...didn't walk at all and pushed herself to her limit. You can see her cute little tomato face in some of the pictures...my kids take after me in that respect. She was a little nervous to run with her broken arm which she got a few days before the jog-a-thon, but ended up doing fine. {She and Jason were wrestling and she ended up falling off his back and put her arms behind her to break her fall and it ended up breaking her wrist ~ well actually it's a buckle fracture. Anyways, they ended up putting her in a soft cast, which is kind of nice because you can wash the nasty, stinky foot smell out of it. On the way to the urgent care I asked her what she was going to tell the dr. about how it happened and she said "I'm going to say my dad broke it". So I quickly had her revise her story to: "My dad and I were wrestling and I fell off of him"...I've had too many kids with broken bones &/or dislocated sockets and was in fear of child services knocking on my door :-)}
