Christmas day was a big great swirl of excitement. I absolutely love the joy of my kids waking us up bright and early in the morning to go check out what Santa has brought them. There's just something so magical about little kids on Christmas morning ~ it makes the holiday so much more meaningful and amazing when spending it with my kiddos :-)

Sugary donuts for breakfast anyone? Look at those messy lips! I wish I could say Ava's hair was uncharacteristically crazy, poofy, messy on Christmas morning, but in all honesty she sports this hair-do quite often ~ much to mommy's dismay. She even comes up to me after pulling out all the rubber bands or whatever I've put in it to try and tame the beast and says "Now my hair cwazy." I think she does it just because she knows it drives me NUTSO. Honestly, she's like that.
