Week 34...

Looks like I've been putting off this picture for a while! I have 2 excuses...1) time has been flying by and I honestly haven't realized that 3 weeks have gone by and 2) the fact that I'm never "in the mood" to take a picture of myself these days...I like to live in the fantasy world and not look in the mirror too much :-)

Jason's sister who is due a few months after me recently put up some names she was thinking about for her baby, so I thought it would be fun to do the same. I know it's kind of considered taboo to do so, but I don't really know why...I do have to say, however, that I will only accept comments telling which names are your favorites and any other suggestions you might have ~ no reasons why I shouldn't pick one of the names on my list! And while I'm at it I want to put down the names I was thinking about while I was pregnant with the other bambinos...they may want to know what they were "almost" named some day...
*I have to dig out the actual lists, but these are the names I can remember off the top of my head. I'll add more later today once I find the original list if I forgot any. Here they are...

Mayah:
Mayah, Claire, Grace, Elle (like the letter), Payton, Halle, Maile (as in Miley), and to be honest she was almost my Ava.

Connor:
Connor, Carter, Carson, Owen, Lincoln, Jonah, Jonas, Quinn, Eli, Oliver

Ava:
Ava, Eden, Campbell, Emerson, Claire, Elle, Addison, Reese, Halle (as in Berry), Lily, Payton (I think I always knew she was an Ava even before she was conceived...that was the name I've always pictured for one of my little girls)

Baby Boy:
Bennett, Cohen, Pierce, Carter, Paxton, Quinn, Harrison, Landon, Grayson, Coleson, Kellen, Reed, Lincoln, Anderson, Leighton, Davis, Cullen, Spencer. I also saw this little blond boy yesterday and his mom was calling him Maddox and it was really cute (I know it's kind of Angelina Jolie-ish, but I liked it).

I know our boy's name list is extremely long, but I just can't choose ~ please tell me your favorites!! And any new suggestions you might have :-) btw ~I must say that I am not a big fan of shortening the name so I would name him what I would call him. For example: Bennett would NOT be Ben, and Harrison would NOT be Harry. I might call Lincoln, Link or Paxton, Pax on occasion, but only on occasion.

I was actually going to suggest Spencer and how about Aiden (SP?)? I like Harrison, and Anderson is growing on me. I'm sure you'll know what his name is when you see him : )

I really like Maddox too.

I am laughing my butt off because there are so many names on your lists that I have considered myself. And then the real funny part is at the end where you said you don't like shortening names, I am totally the same way and Marc thinks I'm nuts-o. I'm not denying being nuts, but that it the least of my nutty-ness.

Ok, I love Harrison, Anderson, Bennett, Carter (that's one of Amanda's boys name), Lincoln, and Maddox. I also love Max or Maxwell or something with Max in it. I guess I'm not really any help because I love pretty much all the same names as you.

Have you picked a middle name yet?

Cullen (have you read Twilight?) :o) I actually kinda like that! K, my favs are Pierce, Carter, Davis, Paxton and Cullen. I like ALL the names. So funny, I totally agree with Astrid on the Max name...LOVE IT. Maximilian is BIG over here. Love you guys.

We all know what Spencer would say to name your child. I do like that one too.

Let us see... I like Pierce and Davis. Not that that helps you. I really like all of them. Those just stuck out.

By the way - I love your tummy.

When ever I come down there... I will for sure do a stop/run by. I miss ya.

Oh your baby belly is so super cute. You look so good pregnant! Well, you also look awesome when not pregnant, so I guess I'm not too surprised.

About the names: I love, love the name Bennett. I also love Jonah and Jonas (and I happen to love the song by Weezer called, "My Name is Jonas"). Love the name Landon, too. Actually, all of these names are ones I considered for our little Jacob, but had to rule out (usually because we already had a family member with that name or something like that). One of my other favorites is Emmett, but I know that one is taken in your family :-)

P.S. I think it is funny that your blog post requested input on YOUR favorite names. But what about Jason's favorites? I'm not sure that those were listed... Is your little poll a bit biased, hun? Ha ha. Just teasing you. Anyway, I'm in support of moms getting to pick the name, since they are the ones who gestate and endure grueling labor :-)

Those are all such cute names! I really like Quinn Bosworth! Joe has a friend named Quinn, I always thought it was such a solid name. You are such a cute pregnant woman!

Let's see...I loved reading everyone's comments. It makes me realize how the decision is SOO up to you. Your problem: all the names are great names. I really like Davis, Reed, Owen (from Connor's list), Quinn, Lincoln (of course, I have a Lincoln) and Anderson. Some other names I like (not that it matters:) are Miles, Hugh, Oliver, Elliot. I can't wait to see what you decide. Oh, and ps, you're not allowed to look that good when you're prego, so, stop it, would you?

Sandy- you look sooooo good! Can't believe you're about to have that babe! I love all the names- so hard! Especially love Leighton and Grayson- but both those don't have an "er" sound at the end like Connor- your girls have the "a" sound at the end- does this matter- are you trying to keep the pattern? If you do- what about- Colter, Oliver, Archer, Asher, Parker, Tanner, Spencer? Just trying to add to the confusion- sorry! I am so excited for you!
