A year of firsts...2003 in review

The year began as any other in Michigan, cold and getting colder. It has been soooo nice being close to family, especially with a kid in tow. We love the free babysitting and they love spoiling her. Of course, all the great memories and traditions are okay too!! This has been a year of many firsts for us...Mayah's 1st trip to St. Petersburg, with GiGi, Grammy and Pappy, our 1st taste of working life as Jason interned at Varnum, a law firm in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mayah's 1st Halloween, and of course her 1st birthday. It was a great year and I absolutely love being a stay at home mom...that being said, every mom knows there are those days when you would give it up for some adult conversation--at least for a day!
